About Kate Molitor
My name is Kate Molitor and I couldn't be more excited to ride with the Bike the US for MS organization again this year! The past three summers I have seen a group of strangers come together and RIDE their BIKES across the country for the common cause of supporting MS. Riding up to people’s houses with MS to complete service projects, spreading the word along the route of why we are riding, and seeing the impact we are making; has been a life changing experience. This year I ride in honor of Jen!
I have had the privlidge to meet several people with MS, at the research center where we donated money, who's lives were directly going to be helped through our donations. The graditude and appreciation they had for our efforts to help make their lives easier was reasurrance that this ride is worth every painful climb. This experience reminded me why I ride and why I need your help!
MS is a disease the effects the nervous system and how it transmits signals to parts of the body. It can affect people in different ways; causing fatigue, numbness, weakness, pain, speech problems, and other effects. Being able to give back and help people who struggle with these symptoms on a daily basis is a truly rewarding experience.
As I ride my bike across the U.S. this summer with the rest of the team we will be completing service projects benefitting those with MS and raising money and awareness for this disease.
However, I am not able to complete this adventure and support those with multiple sclerosis without your help!!!!!
