About Chase Jones
Half Man, half lion, half mystery. Some call him... Chase Jones. He was born as tortoise to a loving family of bunnies, badgers, and bears in the desert of the enchanted empire known as New Mexico. Crawling about, eating at times, and exploring his surroundings, he saw and learned much from his enviroment. Chase traveled to a different land at the age of 3 called Atlanta Georgia. There he transformed into a gazelle. He gained culture, made friends and realized his abilities and potential over a period of 10 years. Chase and his unorthodox family of animals decided it was time to expedite to a new habitat after this period, and so they journeyed to Sarasota Florida. In this place, Chase morphed into a heron and was able to grow healthy, develop good habits, and create fond memories. After 5 years of thriving in the gulf he headed off to post secondary school to learn how to be a better creature, learn independence and build determination. He is now Rabbit, 21 years of age living in Tallahassee Florida. He goes to school full time and works two part-time jobs. He has felt strongly about making the most of his life and is a mammal of action. So this summer he will turn into a lone wolf and be traveling from Portland Oregon to Sarasota Florida. Stopping in all the states that he has a loved one (as a surprise to them) or friendly creature to visit. He hopes to raise 1,000 human dollars to benefit victims of MS. All the money will be donated for research prevent and cure MS.
feel free to donate to him as he is hardworking but still a broke young college kid with high aspirations.
MS for those that don't know is a disease that limits mobility through attacking the myelin sheething and exposing neurons making the communication of your brain to your body parts faulty or non existant. MS has the ability to cause paralysis and can be a threat to ones independence. I have used biking and running my entire life as an outlet for my anxieties and as activities to make me happier and more energetic. It has become a huge part of my life to be as active as I am. I don't want to ever take that for granted and I feel like giving aid and hope to those that have had their mobility taken would be a great opportunity to show my gratitude for the health that I have been blessed with. I plan to volunteer in cities and towns along the way and provide what service I can to again show appreciation for my abilities.
With Traveling cost being so expensive and my family being spread all over the country, I have chosen a route that will take me from one side of the country to the exact opposite side so that I can see all my family members to surprise them and tell them of my journey. The first stop will be Rexburg, Idaho to visit my sister Rhiannon and her husband Tyler and their 4 wonderful girls. Next will be Salt Lake City, Utah to see my sister Lindsey and her husband Bryan and the sweet little camster! From there it is on to Farmington, New Mexico to see my Dad his kind wife and my Stepmom Nancy. I will also have the opportunity to see my Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and G-MA! I advance onward to Pidgen Forge Tennessee to say hello to My wonderful and Handsome Pappaw! Next is Sarasota, Florida to Visit Tom, Mom and Chubbs! the Final destination is obviously Home to Tallahassee where my brother in law Matt and Sister Cindel and their tiny man called Hatch live! I love my whole family with all my heart and can't wait for the chance to see them again. They have done so much for me and have provided me with all the confidence I have to do something as momentous as this.
Thanks for your help and wish me luck!
