About Dan Catlin
I just recently reached the greatest milestone of my life, one for which I have strived longer than I can even remember. In the wake of this, however, I grasped the sheer single-mindedness of what I had been doing, and I decided that it was time to broaden my horizons, time to devote my time and energy to something greater than myself. I cannot imagine a better way to spend this summer, working with a team of outstanding individuals toward a noble goal.
I have followed the success of Bike the US for MS with enthusiasm since its inception and have always wanted to commit myself to its challenges. I absolutely cannot wait to explore America, looking for the spirit of camaraderie and love for one's fellow man that I know exists there. I may be naive, but I believe in the inherent goodness of mankind, the ability for us to set aside our differences, to ignore the petty day-to-day issues of our lives, and to unite for a common righteous goal. If my small contribution can make even the slightest of difference in the lives of those affected by MS, then I will be blessed. To all of those who have made contributions to this and other causes, and to those that will make such contributions in the future, my respect for you is endless.
