About Rick Egdorf
Hey! I am an avid recreational rider who is actively living the "Peter Pan" syndrome of never wanting to grow up. I'm trying to turn the aging clock back by doing the things N.O.W. (No Opportunity Wasted) that I have said "I'd like to do that someday." I am a four-year veteran of the Bike the US for MS organization and forever fan.
My love for cycling is outweighed only by my love of family and my passion for helping others. It must be genetic, because there are countless care givers in my immediate family. My heart is with those who needlessly suffer and the fight against MS has become my cause. Since publicizing my MS rides, many people have shared their personal MS stories with me, including some close friends who are now my inspiration and my heros - Blake, Janet, Amy. Bless you my friends. May you find some comfort and hope in what little I can do for you.
One of my many dream rides is join this amazing group for a full coast-to-coast ride. But since I cannot do that just yet, I'm again riding the Mpls to Fargo leg. In the past, I've also ridden a second week-long ride for another MS organization, but this year I am focusing only on Bike the US for MS so my goal is $2000. Think of it this way... I do all the work pedaling and all you have to do is open your checkbook. Seriously, our friends and loved ones need your support.
