About Summer Intern - Alex Ball
Welcome to my profile and fundraising page!
As a Summer Intern with Bike the US for MS, I will be helping the cyclists and route leaders on this cross country trip by supplying water at our rest stops, driving the support vehicles, and confirming campsite reservations.
To my friends and family: Thank you for supporting me on this challenging adventure; never before have I attempted something so physically strenuous! My goal for this summer is to ride 1,200 miles and raise $1 per mile for MS research and treatment. Every donation helps, even if it's just 5 or 10 dollars. Donations can be made online using the button on the top right of this page.
Tax deduction information: Bike the US for MS Inc is a 501c3 tax exempt organization with tax ID #27-2192426

To my fellow cyclists: I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio; being a midwesterner at heart, I am most comfortable cycling on flat terrain. I am a novice cyclist and have never attempted a long trip like this. As a schoolteacher, I am able to take the summer off to join you guys on this awesome trip. My hobbies include: yoga, pottery, art, knitting, camping, backpacking, hiking, reading, and watching movies. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and being part of the Trans AM team!
To the route leaders: Because of my work schedule, I'll be missing the first week of the trip. I really appreciate you all filling in for me until I arrive. See you all in Blacksburg!
I feel very lucky to have the time to support an important cause and be a part of this exciting adventure. I thank my boyfriend, Ryan Bing, and his brother, Kevin, for introducing me to this amazing organization.
