About Phoebe Erickson
My name is Phoebe Erickson and I am a Communication major at DePauw University. I am a self-proclaimed thrill seeker with an insatiable wanderlust. I am a fervent traveler and love a good adventure. I’ve been all across the globe, but have hardly seen my own country, and so at the suggestion of one of my best friends, Kaylee Schwitzer, I have decided to join the Northern Tier team and bike across the United States for Multiple Sclerosis.
About two years ago a dear friend of mine was diagnosed with MS. She is still the lively, fun loving woman I grew up with. I will be completing this ride with her in mind.
The team and I will be riding from Bar Harbor, Maine to Seattle, Washington in 68 days, averaging 70 miles a day. Throughout the journey we will be completing service projects for people living with Multiple Sclerosis and raising awareness for MS.
What is so wonderful about this whole experience (aside from seeing this beautiful country from a bike) is that it supports a great cause! I will be raising $1 for every mile I ride (4,295 miles to be exact) of which 90% goes towards MS research and patient care.
I am so excited for this opportunity and am extremely grateful for your support and good wishes. Help me reach my goal by making a donation online (donation box on upper right corner) or mailed to:
