About Amanda Williams
As an Alum of the 2014 TransAm Virginia leg, I am ecstatic to be able to ride with Bike the US for MS again in 2015! Last year's trip changed my life in so many ways. I was fairly new to cycling, so not only did I become a stronger rider (mentally and physically), but I was introduced to all kinds of wonderful people. From sharing the experience with fellow riders of all backgrounds and abilities to meeting many people living with Multiple Sclerosis who receive treatment at the James Q. Miller MS Clinic in Charlottesville, VA to actually doing a service project at someone's home and hear their stories; all of these people touched my life for the better. I can only hope I've helped to do my part to spread awareness about MS and really connect with people who have been affected by MS.
Thank you for supporting my ride, as it really supports something so much bigger than me riding across a bike across a few states. Your donation will help to improve the lives of so many people living with MS, whether it's a service project to plant a garden that's easier to maintain or go towards the purchase of a modified mini-van to accommodate a wheelchair. Your donation, no matter how big or small, counts significantly! Thank you!
