About David Crooks
I am a very late entrant as a rider but after having the opportunity to ride self-supported with my son Matt last Friday across Illinois and meeting all the other TransAm riders who are all wonderful people and very dedicated to the task, I've decided to ride the Pueblo to Telluride, CO segment. Actually I'm one of those people who has a hard time making a decision so it was my best friend and wife Barb who decided for me. If it weren't for her I probably would not be doing this. For a person living with MS for the past fifteen years and wheelchair bound she knows the meaning of NOW....No Opportunity Wasted and she likes to live by that motto. She is a huge inspiration to me and also my hero! When I'm climbing a steep grade in 90+ degrees I just think of her and it becomes much easier.
I have very little experience with Bike the US for MS but have been doing MS 150 rides for years so I know that riding on behalf of all those people living with MS is a very worthwhile cause. I am truly humbled by this opportunity and also very excited.
I only have a little over a week to raise $600 and I would love to raise more so if you can please donate even a small amount you can be assured that it is going towards a very good cause.
Many thanks to Bike the US for MS for allowing me this opportunity.
