About Kurt Lorch

Hello!!  I am very excited to be competing in the Race Across America (RAAM) once again! In 2015, “Bike the US for MS” team “Gears to a Cure” finished in 6 days 17 hours which was 8th place in the 8 man team category.   But what was most important was the money we raised for Multiple Sclerosis!  A little about myself, I have lived in Carmel, Indiana for over 16 years and am married to my beautiful wife, Joy. We have 3 amazing kids Lexi, Kenzie, and Parker.  I have been riding road bikes since I was a teenager, however, I was forced to take about 10 years off of my bike due to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 1996.  In 2007 I was able to start riding again and feel incredibly blessed for every day I am able to get in the saddle.   I always enjoy finding challenging rides to participate in and I am excited to compete in the 2016 Race Across America to continue raising funds to find a cure for MS!   Please join me in the fight, by making a donation today!  Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
