About Nichole Taylor

ADVENTUROUS is one word that describes me!  I have participated in the Race across America (RAAM) for the past two years as a Race Official.  The invitation to be crew with the “Bike the US for MS” team “Gears to a Cure” this coming summer 2016 is my next adventure.  This team is a family to me and my two young daughters Laura (12) and Rachel (10).  Curing Multiple Sclerosis (MS) became a personal battle when I was diagnosed in 2010 with relapsing remitting MS.  As a single mom it is important to surround myself with others who live with MS, volunteer and fight for a cure.  My battle with MS has brought me through all the phases; scooter, walker, and cane.  Staying active and newer drugs that help prevent the relapses have enabled me to walk unassisted for almost 3 years.  I became a bike enthusiast in 2011 riding a recumbent trike and I currently ride an upright bike for 2 years now.  In the 2 years I have logged over 500 race miles for the National MS Society!  Please join me in taking down MS and providing patients with even more new drugs options through research today!  Even small donations can make a huge impact!
