Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a complex and often unpredictable disease that affects the central nervous system, leading to a wide range of symptoms and challenges. The immune system mistakenly attacks myelin, the protective covering of nerve fibers, disrupting communication between the brain and the body. This can result in symptoms ranging from mild numbness in the limbs to severe paralysis or loss of vision. The progression and severity of MS can vary greatly among individuals, making it a uniquely personal battle for each person affected.
Nearly 1 million people in America are living with MS and 2.8 million worldwide. That's 1 in every 350 people in the US.
Welcome to the heart of our mission—where your passion for cycling meets the critical fight against Multiple Sclerosis. As you prepare to embark on this incredible journey, remember: every pedal stroke is a chance to make a difference. Your fundraising efforts directly empower our collective fight against MS, funding support, research, and raising awareness.
